We are committed to staying on top of the newest information in the science of behavior change (both human and canine). We do this by being members of professional organizations offering credentials, a commitment to a code of ethics, as well as a pledge to meet continuing education requirements.

  • To become a CPDT-KA, our trainers must prove a minimum of 300 hours’ experience in dog training within the last 3 years, provide a signed attestation statement from a CCPDT certificant or a veterinarian, agree to a Standards of Practice & Code of Ethics, commit to LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) Effective Behavior Intervention model of training.   • To become a CBCC-KA, our trainers must prove minimum of 300 hours’ experience in canine behavior consulting (on fear, phobias, compulsive behaviors, anxiety, and aggression) within the previous 3 years, provide a signed attestation statement from a CCPDT certificant or a veterinarian, agree to a Standards of Practice & Code of Ethics, commit to LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) Effective Behavior Intervention model of training.   • We complete a minimum of 36 hours of continuing education each recertification cycle for each of our credentials. This means traveling to various events, conference, seminars, workshops and professional events to learn from the best in the industry.

  • We understand the study of dogs as a species, the unique attributes of each breed as well as how dogs can be different than others of the same breed.

  • We work closely with your veterinarian to ensure your dog is healthy and ready for training.
