This month we’re pulling out the doggy jackets! As the weather temperature drops we’re making plans for holidays and moving our group classes inside. This means some of our classes will drop to smaller numbers and we will be holding some specialty classes. Keep your eyes peeled for workshops and classes to help keep the winter blues away.

Chew Recommendations from the Vet:

If you’re like us, we have routines in the house to help with quiet times or wind down times. Chews are a great help for these times of the day.

During this last month, Windy, was taking her dogs to the vet and they made a great point, if you are going to give your dog a chew at night you might as well make it one that helps clean their teeth. The Vet recommended the chews that have the enzymes for teeth cleaning (C.E.T. Chews) but that even Greenies(R) or other dental chews are a great option. If you are going to give your dog those calories might as well make the most of them.

As we near the end of the year we are thrilled to welcome 3 of our interns into our training staff. Heidi, Helen, Sara have each come through an intern program (either through CATCH Academy or Animal Behavior College) and we have asked them to stay on with us to help with Academy. We now having Academy running from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. These new trainers will be here first thing in the morning to welcome your dog to Academy in the mornings. We are thrilled to have these ladies join our team and know your dogs will love them too!
