SEPTEMBER:

• MONDAY

  • 5:30-6:30 Basic Manners (is in the process of being moved from Thursday to Monday)

  • 6:30 - 7:30 Basic Manners Class for Reactive Dogs

• TUESDAY

  • 5:30-6:30 Positive Start Puppy Class

• WEDNESDAY

  • 5:30-6:30 Nosework Classes

• THURSDAY

  • 5:30-6:30 Basic Manners
    note - this class will be moving to Mondays as soon we can transfer everyone over in the upcoming weeks.

  • We will then have this spot (5:30-6:30) as a rotating elective classes. We are planning start dates for the following classes:

    • Loose Leash Walking Class

    • Come When Called (Level 1 or 2)

    • Parkour

    • Drink With Your Dog

    • Intermediate Manners

Fit Dog Club

Our Fit Dog Club will be holding walks at various locations and dates throughout the year. We will be walking together and enjoy getting our dogs out for walks together.

In early September we will be saying Good-Bye to Jewel as she moves on to another adventure in life. We are sad to see Jewel moving on to other things but we are happy for her and wish her all the best. She has loved every single one of the dogs that has come into our care and we have loved watching her work with them. Jewel is a fantastic dog trainer and we have been lucky to have had her here at Behavior Tails. We got to know her as an intern and have gotten to watch her grow and develop her skills. We wish her all the best and look forward to seeing her again in the future.

As we progress through the year it’s so wonderful to see the dogs progressing through skills and having so much fun while learning. Windy and I (Caitlin) have been exploring some new topics to bring back to teach classes including things like Snake Avoidance Training, Treiball, Tricks for a Routine, Rally Obedience and can’t wait to get this on the schedule through the winter & spring.
